If you have ever tried to unlock a real (mechanical) combination lock, then you will know that it takes a bit of practice even with the correct combination. This is an AS2 combination lock which replicates accurately a real one. The dial and code are all in the .fla file. The combination is in the line: var combinationArray:Array = new Array(53,22,76,87); and would be very easy to create or change using almost limitless means.
The dial has been created in Illustrator. Other packages were used for the surround (cinema4D, Photoshop, Fireworks). The code to rotate the dial is located in the dial symbol, so anyone who wishes to know how to create a continuously rotating knob should look there. |
